Stephen Lasinis is a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he is pursuing a Master of Science in Mathematics. As an instructor for Math 98/108, Stephen is dedicated to helping students develop a strong foundation in mathematics. His academic interests lie primarily in enumerative combinatorics and graph theory, fields where he enjoys applying coding exercises to solve complex problems.
Stephen earned his undergraduate degree in applied mathematics and computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. During his time there, he participated in the SURF program, conducting research on a novel type of graph labeling. Looking ahead, Stephen plans to pursue a PhD in mathematics, with aspirations to continue his research and teaching. Outside of academics, he enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends and spending time with his two cats, Onyx and Ollie.
